MTG-S1 has passed its last system validation test ahead of its planned launch in 2025. The testing included checks of the ground control systems and the two main instruments on board the platform.
Having passed the final system validation tests with flying colours, the MTG-S1 satellite has returned safely to the clean rooms at OHB in Bremen, Germany.
MTG-S1 has passed its Qualification and Flight Acceptance Review and is ready for transportation after final software updates to the S4 UVN and IRS.
